Ms. Rhinehart, Student Services Secretary

1. Mrs. Rhinehart has lived in Maryland all her life.
2. She is totally faithful to her hometown football and baseball teams – The Baltimore Ravens and Orioles
3. A cat lover, she has five cats – Midi, Ena, Sam, Chancy, and Mommycat
4. She and her daughter work with Small Miracles Cat and Dog Rescue, and foster kittens
5. Going to Ocean City for vacation every year is one of her favorite ways to relax, and she loves reading a book at the water’s edge in a beach chair.

3. Every year Ms. O'Connor and her family help to try to break the world record for the number of lit jack-o-lanterns at Pumpkin Festival in Keene, NH. Her family often carves 20 pumpkins for the festival. Grand totals from past Pumpkin Festivals are around 26,000-29,000 lit jack-o-lanterns!

Ms. Panzer - School Psychologist
Top 5 things you need to know about Ms. Panzer
5. Ms. Panzer loves to travel. She has been to 24 countries, 28 U.S. states states and 6 Canadian provinces so far. She has traveled to Tunisia twice. 4. Ms. Panzer grew up in England and upstate New York, went to college at the University of Richmond then graduate school at James Madison University in Virginia and has lived in Maryland ever since. 3. Ms. Panzer's favorite time of the year is the Fall: school starts, the weather gets cooler, her birthday is in September, the leaves turn beautiful colors and it's the perfect time of year to make applesauce. 2. Ms. Panzer has been a school psychologist in Howard County for 16 years. This is her first time working in a middle school and she is very excited to get to know the students, families and teachers! 1. Ms. Panzer shares her time between Glenwood Middle School and Elkridge Elementary School. She will be at Glenwood on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays this school year. |
Ms. Chapman - Pupil Personnel Worker
Ms. Chapman graduated from Shepherd University. She obtained a Master's in Social Work from the University of Maryland and then went on to obtain a certification in Administration and Supervision from Johns Hopkins University. Ms. Chapman says, "PPW's are the link between the school staff, students, parents and the community. They assist in identifying and preventing the problems that adversely impact educational success, such as absenteeism, disruptive behaviors, and social/emotional issues. PPW's serve to ensure quality and consistent implementation of student related laws, regulations, school policies, and procedures to provide a safe, nurturing, and academically stimulating environment."
Ms. Chapman shares her time between five different schools. She is at Glenwood on Tuesday's for half of the day.

Ms. Gorbey-Creese - Cluster Nurse
Mrs. Creese has been a nurse for more than twenty-four years and has worked for HCPSS for the past twelve years. She is a graduate of West Virginia University. She works at both Bushy Park Elementary School and here at Glenwood Middle School. She loves working with students of all ages. She is married, has two college age children, and three pets. In her free time, she enjoys photography, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Ms. Pugh - Health Assistant
Ms. Pugh has been employed in Howard County Schools for thirteen years. She was a Special Education Assistant for one year and a Health Assistant for twelve years; eight years at Bushy Park Park Elementary and four years at Glenwood. She has had the privilege of interacting with a number of students at Glenwood, since they were in Kindergarten. She is currently a college student working to further her education in the health field. Her favorite place to go is the beach where she often tries to catch the beautiful sunrises over the ocean. She loves spending her free time singing with her band at various fundraisers, particularly for our veterans. The most important job she ever had was raising her four children and now she has seven precious grandchildren! Her children and grandchildren are the loves of her life!!
